2005 UPA College Championships
A month of sectional and regional tournaments have whittled hundreds of men's and women's college teams down to 16 survivors in each division.

Favored men's teams include winners of the past five UPA College titles: the University of Colorado (2004 defending champions), the University of Wisconsin (2003), Stanford (2002), Carleton (2001), and Brown University (2000). Newcomers include the Canadian college champions and qualifiers from the Metro East: Queens-Kingston with a perfect 20-0 season record!

Women's teams include four time champs Stanford (2003), Carleton (2000), and top teams from NC State, Texas and the California at Berkeley.

The UPA College Championships take place in Corvallis, Oregon, at the Crystal Lake Park on Friday and Saturday, May 27–28. The championship games are Sunday, May 29 at the Crescent Valley High School stadium.

In the end, Miranda Roth's University of Washington team came up short, losing to Stanford 15-12 in the finals, but can there be any doubt that she was the tournament MVP?
